About AGON Online
AGON is developed by professional game developers at aptocore.com. Our background is high-end, multi-platform game technology development for the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, PSP and PC.
Now we are loving the iPhone as the ultimate on-the-go gaming platform.
We believe the future holds great promise for the mobile gaming platform. If not the case already, then in the very near future, there will be more players here than on all traditional platforms combined – we want to be a part of that revolution.
The time has come for mobile gaming to be taken seriously.
The Aptocore Team
Aptocore was founded in 2008 by five seasoned software developers. Since June 2009 we have been accompanied by Steen Lund, who is not only an excellent developer, but also a former colleague of ours.
Kim Steen Riber
Kim is our performance and optimization expert. He turns bytes into bits for breakfast. Check out his GDC 2008 Poster on dynamic profiling of C++ code. Kim previously worked at Deadline Games and is a mean Guitar Hero player.
Ebbe George Haabendal Brandstrup
Winner of the 2008 Nordic Game Jam, Ebbe is a programming genius. He loves to turn hardcore algorithms into elegant code. Ebbe was previously at Deadline Games, where he worked with core engine development.
Lars Peter Christiansen
Co-Founder, Programmer ![]()
Winner of the 2008 Nordic Game Jam, Lars Peter gives life to bits and pixels in our games and user interfaces. Lars Peter worked on the real-time WYSIWYG editor at Deadline Games.
Morten Nielsen
Co-Founder, Programmer ![]()
The youngest kid on the block, but also the quickest adapter of us, Morten breaks for nobody when it comes to churning out code effectively. Morten was a key member of the core engine team at Deadline Games.
Daniel Povlsen
Co-Founder, CEO ![]()
Once an aspiring programmer of advanced rendering algorithms, Daniel now manages all the loose ends of a start up. At Deadline Games Daniel worked on hardware abstraction, in particular in relation to 3D rendering.
Steen Lund
Programmer ![]()
Without exception Steen takes on and succeedes with all programming challenges we throw at him. Steen was also a key member of the core engine team at Deadline Games until they closed their doors in May, 2009.
